She was the daughter of Wiley Causeway (abt 1780-1828) and Holland UNK Causeway (d.1837) of Craven County NC.

Nancy was Jessie Lancasters second wife.Celia Jane Nelson was his first wife and died in Craven County abt. 1839. Jessie and Celia had two children together William Alonza Lancaster and Emeline Lancaster who married Thomas Holden.
