Jackie Lanier Sawyer, a general industrial construction contractor, died Tuesday at a Pensacola hospital. He was 43.
Sawyer, a native of Monroe County, resided in Brewton.
Survivors include his wife, Anita Sawyer of Brewton; a son, Jason Sawyer of Frisco City, Ala.; three daughters, Jessica Sawyer and Lisa Sawyer, both of McCullough, Ala., and Tara Lynn Sawyer of Brewton; a stepson, Marcus Quebedeaux of Brewton; two stepdaughters, Tori Quebedeaux and Tiffany Quebedeaux, both of Brewton; three sisters, Darlene Steele of Mexia, Ala., Paige Croley of Monroeville, Ala., and Pumpkin Sawyer of Megargel, Ala.
Visitation is to be this evening from 5 to 8 at Monroe Chapel Funeral Home in Monroeville, Ala. Services are set for 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with burial at Zion Rest Cemetery in Excel, Ala.
