Lyman Goff, a rural mail carrier in Xenia, died in the Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney. He was 51.

Surviving is his wife, Marie; a son, Ellis; his parents, Mr. & Mrs. Delbert Goff; two brothers, Arlie and William; a sister, Frances Cantrell; and a grandson.

Funeral services were held at Powers church with burial in the Powers Cemetery.
