Services for Morris W. Largent, 80, of Lufkin, were held Tuesday, April 13, 1993 in the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park.
Mr. Largent was born Jan. 30, 1913 in Lufkin and died Monday in a Lufkin nursing home. He was a lifetime resident of Lufkin. He was the owner of J. L. Grimes store and co-owner of Dias Grocery. He attended the Baptist church.
Survivors: sister and brother-in-law, Iva Nell and Cecil Haley of Lufkin; sisters, Minnie Ann Thompson and Rachel Summy of Lufkin; brother, E. F. Largent of Brazoria; and a number of nieces and nephews.
