SERVICES MONDAY FOR F. KALENDA
DAYTON--Frank Kalenda of the Eastgate Community died Saturday, February 23, in Cleveland.
Mr. Kalenda, 83, was a native of Czechoslovakia, but had resided at Eastgate since 1914 where he was engaged in farming.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Sterling Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Albert Michalik, officiating. Burial was in the Eastgate Cemetery.
His survivors include one son, John Kalenda of Dayton; one daughter, Mrs. Anna Kubes of Dayton; two brothers, Charles Kalenda of Temple and Paul Kalenda of Czechoslovakia and three grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Joe Svoboda, E. A. Powell, Joe Sefcik, Louis Zalesky, Frank Nemy and John Hanel.
