Funeral rites for John W. Ennis, 94, well known retired carpenter who died here Tuesday evening at the home of a daughter, will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Thursday at the Meeks Mortuary. The Rev. Eugene Pawley will conduct the services. Interment will follow in Elm Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary.
Mr. Ennis died at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Marion Rohr, 3210 S. Hackley St., following an illness of six months. A native of Morgan County, he had resided in Muncie for the past 51 years.
Surviving are three sons, Ray Ennis of Muncie, Walter Ennis of Del Ray Beach, Fla., and Carl Ennis of Selma; two daughters, Mrs. Rex Hoot of Toledo, Ohio, and Mrs. Rohr of Muncie; and a sister, Mrs. Emma Kemp of Martinsville.
