Mable (Ray) Allen
Mable (Ray) Allen went home to be with the Lord on her 82nd birthday Friday, Feb. 7, 2003. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and faithful member of Hilham Road Freewill Baptist Church.

Preceding her in passing were her parents, Andrew and Mattie Ray of the Poplar Springs Community; her husband, Doyle Allen; two sisters, Delphia Jones and Nadine Bowers; and two brothers, Claude Ray and Fred Ray.

She is survived by brother Omer Ray and wife Pat of West Carrolton, OH; daughter Sharon Marsee and husband Don of Livingston; two grandchildren, Theresa Romzek and husband Ron of Livingston; Don Marsee Jr. and wife Kimberly of Thompson's Station; and five great grandchildren, Scott Romzek, Rachel Romzek, Cody Marsee, Justin Marsee, and Makala Marsee.

Services were held Monday, Feb. 10 at 11 a.m. at Whitson Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Johnny Hammock, Anthony Hammock, Joe Moody, Donald Moody, Mark Evans, and Larry Hull.
