Joseph "Joe" T. Lombard, 67, area native and a long time trustee of the Verdigris Valley Rural Electric Coop., died Thursday night in a Monett, MO., hospital.
He left here two months ago to reside in Cassville,MO.
Mr. Lombard had served the REA Coop for 29 years. He was a WWI Veteran and a member of St. William's Catholic Church here.
He was a former member of the Osage Tribe Council.
Survivors are his widow, Josephine; a son, Joseph T. Jr., of Skiatook, and a half brother, Alex Fox, Skiatook.
A Rosary was recited Monday night, March 6 at 9:30, in the Catholic Church. Requim Mass was held Tuesday morning in the Our Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Pryor, and burial was in Hillside Cemetery north of Skiatook.
Galentine-Price American Legion Post 131 performed grave-side military rites.
