Andrew Hooks, 76, of 1336 Glenn died at 11:15 a.m. Wednesday in Lima Memorial Hospital where he had been a patient since Dec. 28.
Born Dec. 17, 1897, in Lima, he was the son of William Henry and Alice Putnam Hooks. He married Doris (Amy) Bedford and she survives along with two sons, A. Frank of 5555 Sandusky Rd. and Harry H. of 801 Cornell Dr.; four daughters, Mrs. R. E. (Alice) Jones of 3033 W. Hume Rd., Mrs. Elmer (Elsie) Crowe of 255 Barnsbury Dr., Mrs. Herbert (Eileen) Pratt of Williston and Mrs. Daisy Page of 555 Courtland; a brother, Edwin of Pontiac, Mich.; a sister, Mrs. William (Neva) McEwen of Edmonton, Alberta, Can.; 11 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Siferd Main Street Chapel, Rev. Franklin Cooley officiating, with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery.
