TAYLORSVILLE — Funeral services for Gloria Jean Safford Brookins, 22, of Taylorsville, who died Sunday of pneumonia in a Salt Lake City hospital, will be Friday at 2 p.m. in the Taylorsville 16th Ward Chapel, 4932 S. 3200 W.
Mrs. Brookins was the sister of Larry Safford, Provo.
She was born Aug. 6, 1952 in Fillmore to Loren P. and Virginia Graham Safford. She married Gary A. Brookins Jr. on Aug. 1,1968 in Salt Lake City.
She had attended Kearns High School. She was a member of the LDS Church.
Survivors include her husband; one daughter and two sons, Gary L. Vincent R. and Jody Lynn Brookins, all of Taylorsville; her parents, Kearns; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lyndon Graham, Fairview, Sanpete County, and
Mrs. Idola Safford, Meadow, Millard County; three brothers and two sisters, Larry Safford, Provo; Shane Safford, Kearns; David Safford, San Diego, Calif.; Mrs. Brent (Leola) Wardle and Mrs. Dale (Robin) Prows, both of Granger.
Friends may call at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 S. Redwood Road, tonight from 6 to 8 o'clock and Friday at the ward chapel one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Valley View Memorial Park, Granger.
