"DIED - In Newton Falls, of typhoid fever, on the 18th of February, Andrew Craver, aged 38 years 11 months.
Thy widow and children lament thee in tears,
And friends and companions of thy former years,
In grateful remembrance thy memory keep.
But thou in death's slumber forever doth sleep.
O rest thee in peace for thy warfare is o'er,
The trouble of death will annoy thee no more,
Its joys and sorrows by thee are not felt,
Thy heart in compassion no longer will melt.
Prepare us, dear Savior, to follow him where
The children of mortals at last must repair,
And grant that we all may abide in thy love,
And finally meet in the mansion above."
