THOMASVILLE--Funeral for Mrs. Glendora Black Conrad, 86, was conducted at 11 a.m. Friday from Calvary United Church of Christ by Rev. Huitt R. Carpenter, pastor. Pallbearers were Bill Mullen, Cleve Alexander, Olin Darr, Hoy Alexander, Jim Alexander and Raymond Black. Burial was in the family plot in the church cemetery. Mrs. Conrad, a resident of Rt. 1, and widow of John A.L. Conrad, died Wednesday afternoon in Haven Convalescent Home near Lexington. High Point Enterprise--June 8, 1963
