-- ROCK HILL - Mr. Leverett David Barber, 72, of 1208 Stanley Dr. died Feb. 13, 1991, at Piedmont Medical Center. Funeral is 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Red Oak AME Zion Church, Edgemoor, where he was a member. The Revs. M.F. Harrington and Ray Thompson will officiate. Burial is in Barber Memorial Cemetery. Visitation is 6:30 to 7 p.m. Monday at Clemons Funeral Home.

Mr. Barber was the son of the late Robert Ace Barber and Mrs. Abbie Belle Anderson Barber. Born in Chester County, he attended elementary schools at Mount Calvary. He was a World War II veteran and a retired brick mason.

Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Pearline Feely Barber; sons, Roger Lorenzo Barber of Willingboro, N.J., David Lee Barber; daughters, Miss Annie Louise Barber of Baltimore, Mrs. Abbie Clyburn and Mrs. Shirley Hall; brothers, James Barber and Nathaniel Sterling; sisters, Mrs. Mary Moffett of Baltimore, Mrs. Annie Ruth Walker and Mrs. Leather Moffatt; 10 grandchildren.
