Fredric Samuel Dalzell, 59, of New Cut Road, Greenbrier, died Monday, August 17, 1998, at North Crest Medical Center. Services will be conducted Thursday, August 20, at 12:30 with Rev. Albert Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery. Mr. Dalzell was born in Dubuque, Iowa on Feb. 27, 1939, son of the late Wilbur Jennings and Mary Frances Heller Dalzell. He was a graduate of the University of New Mexico and was a retired Lieutenant Commander with U.S. Navy and served in Vietnam. He worked currently as tax consultant for H & R Block and was a member of the Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Janet Pauline Bloemke Dalzell; a son, Michael David Dalzell of Philadelphia, Penn.; a daughter, Jill Kathryn Patton of Cincinnati, Ohio; a brother, Donald Dalzell of Waldorf, Md.; three grandchildren, Melanie Dalzell of Philadelphia, Gavin and Emma Patton both of Cincinnati.
