Funeral services was held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Clarks Baptist Church with the Rev. Carvelia Johnson officiating. He was assisted by the Rev. Paul Jones. Interment was in the old Bethal [sic Bethel] Cemetery under the direction of Riser and Son Funeral Home.
She is survived by two daughters, Miss Fannie Beam, Clarks, and Mrs. Maude Black, Huntsville, Tex.; two sisters, Mrs. Maggie Garrett, Los Cruces, New Mexico, and Mrs. Dollie DeMasters, Terrell, Tex.; seven grandchildren and eight grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Wilbur Black, Maurice Graves, Otto Ferguson, Ed Ferguson, Huddle Ferguson and Hardie Claunch.
