Information: Miss Alice Mae Safreed, 91, of Huntington, died Wednesday at the Hillview Nursing and Convalescent Center, Huntington, after an extended illness. Miss Safreed was born at Sherman, a daughter of the late Samuel and Harriett (Hattie) Rardon Safreed. She was a Methodist. Surviving are a niece, Miss Patricia Ott of Piqua, Ohio; two cousins, Kenny Rector and Mrs. Fay Chambers, both of Ravenswood. She was preceded in death by a brother, Karl Safreed, in 1986. Graveside services were held Saturday at the Ravenswood Cemetery. Straight-Tucker Funeral Home, Ravenswood, was in charge of arrangements.
