MARION, Ky. Mrs. Bessie Byford, 73, of Marion died Monday afternoon at the Best Care Nursing Home.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Mary Jane Martin and Mrs. Bessie Hunt, both of Marion; five sons, Arthur, Earl, and Eugene Byford, all of Marion and Leroy Byford,
Columbia, Ill., Eddie Byford, Evansville; two sisters, Mrs. Pearl Lampe, Buena Park, Calif, and Mrs. Clara J. Rogers, St. Louis, 17 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. today at the Marion Baptist Church with the Rev.
Wilbur Webb and the Rev. Frank Hill officiating. Burial was In Mapleview Cemetery.
