Tondael Blankenship passed away on Thursday, September 4, 2014.
She was born on October 27, 1948 to John Calvin Muncy (1924-1997) & Polly M. Osborne-Muncy (1926-1994). In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Blankenship Sr. (1942-1994) whom she married on July 25, 1964 in Woosley, Wyoming County, WV (per WV Marriage License Register, McDowell County, WV, 1964, Page 137, Application Date: July 21, 1964); two children, George Blankenship Jr (1965-1965), and Tina Marie Blankenship (1971-1971); and brothers, David Osborne (Deceased) and Leslie A. “Junior” Muncy.
She is survived by two daughters, Sherry Ann Blankenship (1966-2016), and Georgia Sue Blankenship (1967-2020); and a granddaughter, Leslie Paige Blankenship.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, September 8, 2014, at 12:00 noon, with Reverend Charles Rose, Reverend Darrell Long, Reverend Martin West and Reverend Bill Harman officiating at the Bradshaw Church of God in Bradshaw, WV. Burial will follow in the Day Cemetery on Keene Ridge Road near Paynesville, WV. Friends may visit with the family at the Bradshaw Church of God in Bradshaw, Sunday, September, 7, 2014 after 4:00 p.m.
