Lorina Thomas, 83, Died Monday at Free Church Home

Mrs. Lorina B. Thomas, 83, a resident of the Evangelical Free Church Home, died Monday evening, Jan. 29, at the home. She had resided at 1323 Tama Street for many years prior to moving to the home April 9, 1968.

She was born Oct. 10, 1889 in Stanhope, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hans Bjorklund. She was a member of the United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1959, one son, a brother, and a sister.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Ray (Vivian) Stumbo, Boone, and Mrs. Morris (Evelyn) Kirshbaum, Washington, D.C., and two granddaughters.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, Feb. 1, at 1:30 p.m., at the Stark-Welin Chapel with Rev. Scott Woodworth officiating. Burial will be in the South Marion Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and on Thursday from 8 a.m. until time of the services.
