Hjalmer Delmar Gran married Betty Lou Helgerson on Oct 28, 1950 in Canton, SD.

Junior and Betty had a retirement summer home in the Black Hills of SD at Hill City. Attendees of Gran Reunions at the Covered Wagon Resort in Piedmont and the Crooked Creek Campground and Resort in Hill City remember the excellent trout that they shared with attendees.
