Marion Le Roy Snow was born Friday, January 20, 1905 in Kingston, Utah to Joseph Homer Snow and Mary Nielsen. He was raised in Manti.

On Tuesday, October 19, 1926, in Manti, he married Mabel Eskelsen. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti Temple. They had no children. Marion and Mabel lived at 171 East Yale Avenue (1087 South) in the Liberty Wells neighborhood of Salt Lake City.

He worked as a welder in Salt Lake City before retiring. Marion was a lifelong and active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, holding many positions throughout his life. He served as bishop of the Salt Lake Thirtieth Ward, high priest, group leader, high councilman, and stake mission president in the Temple View Stake. At the time of his death, he was a high priest in the Liberty Stake and also serving on the high council.

Marion passed away on Friday, April 7, 1978 of natural causes.

Funeral Services were held on Tuesday, April 11, 1978 at 12:00 p.m. in the Harvard Ward Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints located at 1021 South 200 East in Salt Lake City. A viewing was held on Monday, April 10, 1978 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at Deseret Mortuary located at 36 East 700 South in Salt Lake City, and one hour prior to the services at the church.
Following the conclusion of the funeral services, the funeral procession commenced and solemnly and slowly proceeded through the streets of Salt Lake City and concluded at the Salt Lake City Cemetery located at Fourth Avenue and "N" Street in The Avenues, where Marion was laid to rest.
