my great-grandmother [my mother's mother's mother]Everett Kate Virginia Reed Porter Tedder was the mother of Saphronia Jane Porter Clay she was 62 when she passed away,her only child Saphronia died almost 10 years later in 1969,Mrs.Tedder was married to W.O. Tedder at the time of her death ,William T. Porter was her first husband and father of her daughter Saphronia,Mrs.Tedder is buried next to 3 of Saphronia's babies all 4 graves are unmarked,currently Mrs. Tedder has 8 grandchildren living the first born in 1930. she died a few years before i was born.mrs.tedder ran a small rural grocery store in the 40's and 50's.Everett Kate Reed Porter Tedder died August 9, 1959.

She was the wife of Wm. Oscar Tedder. She was born to Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Henry and Sarah Elizabeth Reed on Feb 2, 1898 in the Lake City community. She leaves her only daughter Sophronia Jane Clay and 10 grandchildren.

She is buried beside three Clay grandchildren on the southside, in Garden point Cemetery in an unmarked grave.
