Tom was born April 2, 1930 in Wilcox, Missouri, the son of Thomas and Gladys (Mendenhall) Carmichael, who preceded him in death. A St Joseph, Missouri High School graduate, he joined the US Marine Corps in 1951.
Tom retired from the US Post Office in St. Joseph, Missouri.
Ina May (O'Riley) Guardado of Clackamas, Oregon, a cousin, survives.
Visitation will be 2-3 pm Saturday, March 5, 2011 at Price Funeral Home, Maryville with a Graveside service to follow at the Wilcox Cemetery, Wilcox, Missouri.
