Sept 9, 1975, beloved husband of Eileen Butler Toy; father of Edward T., Howard T. (Mary Ann) and John M. (Diane) Toy; grandfather of John M. Toy Jr.; brother of Mrs. Frank (Elinore) Schultz; Mrs. James (Hazel) Mulvenna, Mrs. John (Mary) Kmitch and James (Millie) Toy and the late Edward and Wilbur Toy.
Funeral from the Edw. Nightengale Funeral Home, 1984 South Park Ave. (near Tift), Saturday morning at a time to be announced. Friends are invited. Family will be present 2-5 and 7-9 PM. Contributions may be made to the Evans Center Volunteer Ambulance Squad or the American Heart Association.

Fact.
When he was born his Mother & Father named him Herbert and was known as Herb until he entered the Army in 1943, he had to get a copy of his birth cert to join the Army and at that time he discovered his name was entered on the birth cert as Howard not Herb, so from than on he had to use Howard as his legal name and to all his friends and relative's he was forever known as Herb.
