I am not sure of the reason for this name change. His citizenship to the United States was back-dated to 12 Jun 1919.
On 4 Jun 1927 Edgar married Frances Janet Lumbard at St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Glendale, Los Angeles Co., California.
Edgar was buried on 4 Aug 1993 at the Hollywood Hills Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Los Angeles, Los Angeles Co., California. His wife Frances is buried alongside of him.
