Mrs Ada Vance, aged 53 years died at her home at Westmoreland about noon Wednesday after an illness of some time from gall stones. She is survived by her husband, Bob Vance; one son Duffy Vance; two daughters, Mrs Dewey Frye of Hartsville and Mrs. Carson Hughes of New Zion; and two sisters, Mrs. John Carr and Mrs Hector Scruggs both of the Fairview section.
Burial was made at one 0'clock Thursday afternoon in Eulia Cemetery, with funeral services conducted by Elder R. Y. Hawkins. The deceased was a good Christian woman.
