John P. Keilen,81,a longtime resident
of Faribault and former resident of
Forest Township,passed away at the
Pleasant Manor Nursing Home on Friday
evening,June 17,following an extended
illness.

Funeral services will be held on
Tuesday morning,June 21,at 9:30 AM
at the St. Lawrence Catholic Church,
with the Rev. F.L. Tschann,pastor,
officiating.Interment will be at
St. Lawrence Cemetery.

Friends and relatives may call at the
Kohl Funeral Home Sunday afternoon and
evening and from Monday afternoon until
the hour of services on Tuesday morning.

Mr. Keilen is survived by:three sons,
Christian of Austin,Leo of Faribault
and Harold of Dundas;five daughters,
Mrs. John Malecha (Elizabeth) of
Lonsdale,Mrs. Jim Malecha (Bernadine)
of Little Chicago,Mrs. Willard Farnum
(Agnes) of Davenport,Iowa.Mrs. Earl
DeLong (Lorraine) of Stanchfield,Minn.
and Mrs. Frank Siera (Loretta) of
Austin;61 grandchildren;25 great
grandchildren and other relatives.

The parish vigil prayers will be
recited on Monday evening at 8 PM
and the St. Lawrence Society,of which
Mr. Keilen was a member for the past
55 years,will recite the rosary at
8:30 PM at the Kohl Funeral Home.
