Nora (Noreen) Mary Gordon, 91, died Sunday, February 27 th at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria IL. She was born September 1 st , 1919 in County Kerry, Ireland to Andrew and Helena (Mannix) Larkin. Nora was married in London, England June 10 th 1944 to her late husband Dean Gordon. Surviving are her two sons - Ivan Gordon of Little Swan Lake IL and Rodney Gordon of Clay City IN; three grandchildren - Marlene (Gordon) Scott-Bruner of Crown Point IN, Roddy Gordon of Chesterfield MO, and Tiffany (Gordon) Collins of Terre Haute IN; two step-grandsons - Chad Hedden of Plainfield IN and Craig Hedden of Clinton IN; and seven great-grandchildren. Nora was a member of the St. Augustine Altar & Rosary Society and the Farm Bureau for over 50 years. The visitation for Nora will be held Thursday, March 3 rd at Corman Memorial Funeral Home in Avon IL from 5:30 - 7:00pm. The rosary will be recited from 5:00 - 5:30 pm. A funeral mass will be performed Friday, March 4 th 10:00am at St. Augustine Catholic Church in St. Augustine, IL with Father Tom Holloway officiating. Burial will be in West Midway Cemetery, London Mills. Memorials may be made to St. Augustine Catholic Church Altar & Rosary Society and London Mills Fire & Ambulance.
