Kathleen went to her heavenly home Monday, Feb. 28, 2011.

Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery under direction of Comanche Nation Funeral Home.

Kathy was born Aug. 15, 1939, in Lawton, to Herbert and Cora McMillian Woesner Sr. She grew up in Cache and graduated from Cache High School. Kathy then attended Cameron College, where she received an associate's degree. She worked for civil service at Fort Sill and Home Builders Association. The Woesner family opened Eagle Park Amusement Park in the summer of 1958. She married Wayne Gipson Sr. on June 5, 1959, at First Baptist Church in Lawton. They made their home in Cache and to this union two children were born. The Woesner and Gipson families expanded the business to include the Curio Store and then in 1972 the Trading Post Restaurant, filling station and gift shop opened. Kathy's main contribution was managing the Trading Post Restaurant and the gift shop. Kathy's husband, Wayne, of 23 years preceded her in death in 1982. The family continued to run Eagle Park Amusement Park until 1985, and the Trading Post Restaurant and Gift Shop still operates today. She married William Treadwell in 1985 and they made their home in Snyder. She continued coming to Cache every day to work at the Trading Post. Kathy enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was always smiling, cooking for the customers, and showing them new things that arrived at the gift shop. Her ultimate goal was pleasing her customers which she also considered part of her extended family.

Kathy is survived by son, Wayne Gipson Jr. of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Ginger and Stephen Seibold, of Sterling; three grandchildren: Reece, Kyanne and Rance Seibold, all of Sterling; and husband, William Treadwell, of Snyder.

Kathy was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Gipson Sr.; her parents, Herbert and Cora Woesner Sr.; and her brother, Herbert Woesner Jr.

Visitation will be from 1 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
