Mrs. Stella Ellen Bulcher, 70, of Versailles, died at 1:35 am Sunday in the home of a daughter, Mrs. Ralph Gigandet, Versailles. She had suffered a stroke and been ill for 4 months. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 9 am from the Holy Family Catholic Church, Frenchtown, with Rev. Charles O'Leary officiating. Burial will be the church cemetery. Friends may call at the Robert Bulcher home, northwest of Versailles, after 4 pm today. Mrs. Bulcher was born July 24, 1884 to Eugene and Mary Couchot Goubeaux, and was married to Peter Bulcher. She had been a resident of near Versailles all her life and was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church and Ladies sodality. Surviving are 8 children: Orville, Francis and Rhomaine, Mrs. Fredona Rethman, Mrs. Pauline Gigandet, Robert and Willard, all of Versailles, and Mrs. Lucille Danzig of Loramie. Other survivors are one brother, Gus Goubeaux of Versailles; 2 sisters Mrs. Irene Barge of North Star and Mrs. Ella Simon of Versailles; and two half-brothers.
