Annie met William Foss, Chet as he was known to his family and friends, and married him in the fall of 1932 in the Congregational Church in Rochester, New Hampshire. In March of 1933, their only child, a son, Conrad Chester Foss was born.

Annie worked in shoe shops while William served in the Navy in 1942 as a Second Class Machinist Mater and he worked on ships, for about 11 years. In 1953 William retired for good from the Navy and that same year, their first grandchild, a girl, was born.

The couple moved to Idaho in the 70's to be near their son, his wife and their eight grandchildren. Annie and William spent a lot of time fishing and camping and just enjoying their family.

Over time William And Anne would have 16 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

Annie died of heart failure on April 6, 2001, with her daughter-in-law and close friend, by her side.

To live in the hearts of others, is to live forever!

Ecclesiasticus 44:14 Their bodies are buried in peace; but their name liveth for evermore.

Perhaps my time seemed all to brief,
Don't lengthen it now with undue grief.
Lift up your hearts and share with me,
God wants me now, He's set me free.

The Fallen Limb

A limb has fallen
from the family tree
I keep hearing a voice that says,
"Grieve not for me"
Remember the best times,
the laughter, the song
The good life I lived
while I was strong

Continue my heritage,
I'm counting on you
Keep smiling and surely
the sun will shine through
My mind is at ease,
my soul at rest
Remembering all,
how I truly was blessed

Continue traditions,
no matter how small
Go on with your life,
don't worry about falls
I miss you dearly,
so keep up your chin
Until the days comes
we're together again

God called your name so softly
That only you could hear
And no one heard the footsteps
Of Angels drawing near

The Golden Gates stood open
God saw you needed rest
His garden must be beautiful
He only takes the best
