*************
Robert Raymond Willman passed away peacefully at home, August 25, 2009, at the age of 82.
Robert, better known as "Bob" was born to William and Maude Willman on February 11, 1927, in Ripley, Oklahoma. He moved with his family to California in 1941.

Bob married the love of his life, Norma Howard, better known as "Pete," on December 18, 1948, at Memorial Hall. All three of their daughters, Betty Ann, Linda, and Susan were born in Crescent City.

Bob started out with a fishing boat, but soon ended up working for West Coast Veneer for the next 20 years. When the mill closed in the 1970's, he went to work at the Crescent City Harbor. He worked there until he retired in the early 1990's.

After retiring, he enjoyed many years of traveling and fishing with his wife and dogs. When health problems prevented them from traveling, Bob enjoyed visits from his family and friends.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 59 years; his three brothers and daughters, Betty Ann, and Susan.

He is survived by his daughter, Linda and her husband, Richard Boatman; son-in-law, Robert Keith; grandchildren, Richard and his wife, Suzanne Boatman; Amy Boatman; Angela and her husband, Ernie Catura; Benjamin and his wife, Shannon Keith; great-grandson, Logan Keith; and numerous nieces and nephews.

At Bob's request, no services will be held. The family requests contributions be made in his name to your local Relay-for-Life.

Our hearts are broken with his passing, but our memories will keep him close.
