Loretta A. Terry (Lambert) Madden, age 86 years of Brockton, died Saturday, Feb. 26, 2011 at her home after a long illness. She was the wife of the late William J. Madden Sr. Born on Sunday, Feb. 15, 1925 in New York City, NY, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Olga (Bubenicek) Lambert. She was educated in New York City schools, and was a long time resident of Brockton. Before she retired, she worked at St. Patricks Church in Brockton as the cook and baker. She enjoyed being in the kitchen and loved baking and cooking, knitting, sewing, playing games, watching John Wayne movies, and spending time with her family. She is survived by her four children: Irene White of Brockton, Terri-Ann Bolio and her husband Fred of Middleboro, William J. Madden Jr. and his wife Linda of Brockton, and Steven Madden and his wife Mickee of Washington; eight grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Donald Coleman and his wife Kris. Her funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 3, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the Dahlborg-MacNevin Funeral Home, 647 Main St., Brockton, MA. Interment will follow the service at the MA National Cemetery in Bourne at 1:30 p.m. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, March 2 from 4:00 | 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Lorettas name to Old Colony Hospice, 1 Credit Union Way, Randolph, MA 02368.
