Born Aug. 1, 1931 in Wood River, she was a daughter of Al and Marie (Tyree) Wininger.
She worked as a technician at Alton Mental Health Center for over 15 years.
A very godly woman, she was a member of Ivy Heights Church of God. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and was very proud of her family. Her family was very proud of her as well.
She is survived by two sons, Perry (Denise) Allison of Edwardsville and Dennis Allison of Rosewood Heights; a daughter, Randi Allison of Rosewood Heights; eight grandchildren, Kevin, Michelle, Lisa, Lindsey (who shared her birthday), Zachary, Colt, Andrea and Jeremy; 10 great grandchildren; and a sister, Peggy Hudson of Wisconsin.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter-in-law, Kathy Allison; and her husband, Earnest Allison, who passed away in 2003.
