Senator, Democrat

Born on a farm in Groveland Township, Tazewell County. Moved from there to Pekin where he lived nearly all his life Married to Viola R. Reuling: one daughter, Nadine Veta. Served four years as city clerk of Pekin, and seven years as a member of the Pekin City Council. Member of the Modern Woodmen, Elks, Kiwanis, D.O.K.K., Crawfish Club and Knights of Pythias. Served five terms in the House of Representatives. Elected t the Senate in November, 1932; re-elected in 1936 and 1940. Business: Real Estate and insurance. Address: Pekin
