Marion Thomas Stroder was the firstborn child of My parents Emil & Bethel [Clay] Stroder he was born on his father's birthday on Feb 26,1951 in Memphis,Tenn. he died in a car accident at age 18 his uncle Cletus Clay was a passenger in the car Cletus suffered a broken leg and scrapes but survived.Marion Thomas was also survived by 5 younger sisters Janie Louise Stroder, Vicki Stroder House Drurey, Pattie Stroder [Berry], Zela Stroder [Ritchie] Peggy Stroder [Saik] and a younger brother Randy Scott Stroder.his paternal grandparents : Adam Stroder and Dora Stroder and maternal grandfather Albert Clay. he was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Saphronia Jane Porter Clay who died January 15,1969.in 1971 my mother gave birth to a premature baby boy Jeffrey Dale Stroder he died a day later and was buried next to Marion Thomas.
