She was born on May 1, 1932 in Newton, Texas and was a lifelong resident of Newton County.
She is survived by her husband, Donald Irwin of Bon Wier, sons, Donald Irwin Jr. of Vidor, Texas and John Irwin of Bon Wier, daughters, Lisa Foote of Bon Wier and Leah Menard of Mauriceville, Texas, sisters, Georgia Hill of Vidor and Nancy Simmons of Newton, five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny and Emma Farr Lewis and sister, Robia Myers.
Funeral services will be on Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at 2pm at Smith Funeral Home in Newton.
Burial to follow at Lewis Chapel Cemetery in Newton County.
