DEATH OF MRS. JOHN HOYLE.
The body of Mrs. John Hoyle of Ceylon, who died last week Monday, was brought to Algona Thursday for burial in Riverview Cemetery. Rev. F.C. Taylor conducted funeral services in the afternoon at the Ed Blackford home. The deceased was born in Polk county in 1860. She was married twice, first to John Peed in 1887, and then to John Hoyle in 1891. She had two children by her first marriage. One is Frank Peed of Ceylon and the other Mrs. Chas. L. Akerman of Ft. Pierre, S.D. She also had two children by her second marriage, Charles and Alta Hoyle of Ceylon. Her second husband survives and also resides at Ceylon. Years ago he was an employee of the Nicoulin wagonworks. Mr. and Mrs. Peed, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. L. AKerman, Charles and Alta Hoyle, John Hoyle and two of the latter's sons by her first marriage, A.A. and J.W. Hoyle of Greene county, attended the funeral.
