Daughter of Norman Hartwell and Sarah Gustin. Sister of James, Susan, Francellia, Levi, Sarah, Lewis and Phoebe. Wife 1st of George William Dunton, mother of Norman Jason and Susan Viola Dunton. Wife 2nd of William Henry Haines, mother of Gerturde, Olive, George, Archie and John Haines.

Algona Courier (Algona, Kossuth, Iowa) Fri 17 Dec 1909 pg 13 col 1 Mrs. Henry Haines, who lived for many years in the Milwaukee depot district, died at her home last Friday evening. She was about 54 years of age. The burial was made Monday and was conducted by Rev. Mittler of the Presbyterian church. Her lot in life is said to have been a rather hard one, having been obliged to make her own living for a number of years.
