Death was caused by an unusual blood disease, while at Barnes, all new drugs & methods of treatment were used to no avail.
Jerry was born in Fairfield March 18, 1944, the son of Juanita & Lester Rogers. He was married to Phyllis Follin on April 27, 1968. Their baby girl Traci Faye, born April 8, the same day he entered the hospital.
He was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church until this year when he joined the Washington Avenue Baptist Church in Evansville, IN.
He is survived by his widow; daughter, Traci Faye; parents, Juanita & Lester Rogers; a sister, Wilma Kline; a brother, Floyd; grandmothers, Frances Masterson & Bessie Rogers.
Funeral services were at Nale's Funeral Home with interment in the Maple Hill Cemetery.
