He enjoyed his job as a substitute teacher in the Lorain Public Schools, being with his family at BBQs, movies, playing his guitar and singing.
Survivors include his sons Hector Carrion of New York and Ruben Carrion of Puerto Rico; daughter, Aisha Carrion of New York; his parents Hector and Virginia (nee Benabe) Carrion of Lorain; sister, Norma Lan of Florida; and brother, Hector Carrion of Florida.
Friends may call Tuesday, 7 to 9 p.m., at House of Praise International Church, 4321 Elyria Ave., Lorain, where services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. Pastor Gilbert Silva will officiate .Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Lorain.
Arrangements by Wyers Funeral Chapel, Sheffield Township.
