Loving mother of Gerald (Deanna) Berard, Joan (John) Lesnik and James (Jean) Berard; dearest grandmother of seven grandchildren, Laurie (Robert) Reattoir, Allison Berard, Jeffrey (Denise), John R. (Susan), Joseph (Rebecca) and James (Kathrine) Lesnik and Julie Lesnik; four great-grandchildren, Samantha and Ethan Reattoir, Luke and Max Lesnik; two sisters, Edith (late Osborne) Rosenquist and Pauline (late Joseph) Mauser. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceded by husband, Robert C. Berard (1989); parents, Joseph and Mary (nee Sgerm) Perush; one sister, Bertha Gerl and one brother, William Perush.
Josephine was born in Joliet and was a life long resident of the Joliet area. Member of Slovenian Womens Union, Alter & Rosary Society, St. Joseph Senior Parishioners, Rosarians, and Lockport Womens Club.
