Ralph William Hayes, 78, of Vilas, died Wednesday morning, September 28 at his home.
He was born February 21, 1910, to Joseph and Carrie Gragg Hayes. He was a retired plumber from Brooks Plumbing & Heating Company and was a member and deacon of Brushy Fork Baptist Church.
He is survived by one son, two grandsons, an a number of nieces and nephews.
Services were conducted Friday afternoon at Brushy Fork Baptist Church. Officiating were Reverends Sherrell Dunn and Ed Crump. Burial followed in the Adams Cemetery.
Hampton Funeral Service was in charge of the arrangements.
