     NAMPA—Mrs. Mary Ellen Nighswonger Comstock, 61, died suddenly Thursday at her home at 515 Ninth avenue South. She was born July 6, 1884, at Clearwater, Kas., and was married to E. R. Comstock there Sept. 19, 1906. They came to Nampa in 1929 from Washington.
     Mrs. Comstock was active in the Christian church, wher e she instructed the young married people's Sunday school class and was a member of the choir.
     She is survived by her husband; one son, Dick, a senior at Nampa high school; four daughters, Erma and Doris, both of Los Angeles, and Mrs. Chet Mosher and Mrs. George Asselin, both of Nampa; her mother, Mrs. Anna Nighswonger of Wichita, Kas.; five brothers, Paul, Perry, Jay and Fred, all of Clearwater, and Myron Nighswonger of Twin Falls, and three sisters, Mrs. Henry Tiechmer of Clarkston, Wash., Mrs. Gladys Kenney of Wichita and Mrs. J. J. Vaughn of Aixley, Calif.
     Robinson's is in charge of arrangements.
