James C. Cliver
NAMPA - Graveside services for James Carl Cliver, 89, a resident of Spokane, Wash., and a former resident of the Nampa area, were conducted Friday morning at Kohlerlawn Cemetery, with the Rev. T. Ross Paden, of the Nampa First United Presbyterian Church, officiating.
Services were under the direction of the Alsip Funeral Chapel.
Mr. Cliver was born Dec. 18, 1883, in Nebraska. He homesteaded here at Nampa, from 1908 to 1918. He then moved to California, and then moved to California, and then to Washington State. During World War I, he had worked as a car inspector for the Southern Pacific Railroad.
Among survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Violet M. Bellotty, of Spokane, Wash.; and two grandchildren.
