Donald C. "Buster" Jenner, 89, formerly of Jordan and Elbridge, died Friday in the Veterans Administration Hospital. Born in Weedsport, Buster spent most of his life in the Jordan-Elbridge area. He was formerly employed at General Electric, Jordan Grill and the village of Jordan. During the Depression, Buster was a member of the Civilian Conservation Corps. He was a Navy veteran of WW II. Buster was a member of the Elbridge Fish and Game Club and the Disabled American Veterans Chapter 8. Surviving are a niece, Ellen Traver; great-nieces and great-nephews; and caregiver Pat Harris and her family. Services will be 7 p.m. Monday at Bush Funeral Home, 120 E. Main St. (Rte. 5), Elbridge, with the Rev. David James officiating. Friends are invited to call 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the DAV. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff at the VA Hospital for the wonderful care given Buster.
