CALDWELL—Myron T. (Mike) Hayes, 56, of Caldwell, route 1, a farmer, died Monday afternoon in his home in the Black Canyon district after an extended illness.
Mr. Hayes was born Dec. 3, 1903, in Garland, Utah, where he was reared. He came to Idaho in 1935 and located in Orofino, where he worked in the woods. He moved to Melba in 1944 and to the present family home in 1947. He was married July 20, 1936, in Clarkston, Wash., to Elizabeth D. Smith.
In addition to Mrs. Hayes, he is survived by two brothers, Wendell and Elmer Hayes, both of Nampa, and three sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Horner and Mrs. Lila Hammley, both of Nampa, and Mrs. Roxy Hall of Orofino. The Flahiff chapel is arranging services.
