John Elliott
John Henry Elliott, 75, of 1817 Third St., N., Nampa died Friday morning at a Nampa hospital.
He was born May 13, 1883, at Black Earth, Wis., and moved with his parents to Hillsboro, N.D., when a child, where they homesteaded in 1884. He was reared at Hillsboro.
He moved to Liston, N. D. in 1907 and married Mamie Estelle Wright, on March 16, 1910.
They resided in North Dakota until 1935 when they moved to Nampa where he had since made his home.
Mrs. Elliott preceded him in death on Aug. 6, 1955, at Nampa.
He was a member of the North Nampa Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors are three sons, Kenneth P. Elliott, Nampa, John E Elliott, of Pocatello and Donald K. Elliott of Watsonville, Calif.; five daughters, Mrs. Marion Goodman, Mrs. Harriett Dennis, and Mrs. Dorothy Charcartegui, all of Nampa, Mrs. Audry Burri of Los Angeles, Calif., and Mrs. Frances Allred, of Watsonville, Calif.; 17 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A son preceded him in death.
Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday at the North Nampa Church of the Nazarene. The Rev. N. W. Kemper will officiate. Interment will be in Kohlerlawn Cemetery under the direction of the Alsip Chapel.
