NAMPA — Services for Mary Elizabeth Duncan, 67, Route 5, Nampa, who died Sunday at home, will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Alsip Funeral Chapel by Elder David Hanks, Nampa 1st Ward, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Interment will be in Kohlerlawn Cemetery.
She was born Nov. 7, 1910, at Ashland, Ill., where she was reared and educated. She moved to Idaho in 1934. She married George B. Duncan in January 1944 at Boise.
She worked in the insurance business in Boise and Twin Falls until moving to Spokane in 1969. They managed the New Madison Apartments, and moved to Nampa in 1975.
Surviving are her husband of Nampa: two daughters, Mrs. Jerry (JoAn) Hess of Nampa, and Mrs. H. (Waunita) Wood of Kuna; a son, Joe Hughes of Mountain Home; two brothers, William of Tacoma, Wash., and Charles Daniel of Meridian; a sister, Mrs. Louise Peterson of Beardstown, Ill.; 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
