Cristina Bernardon Yon, 80, of Box `8`, Bramwell, died Tuesday, March 8, 1983, in a Bluefield hospital after a long illness.
Born September 11, 1902 in Piedicavallo, Italy she was a daughter of Batista Yon Bernardon.
Survivors include in addition to her husband, Livio Yon; one son, Harry I. Yon of Mount Zion, IL; two daughters, Mrs. Clifton (Eva) Hill of Bramwell and Mrs. Charles (Alma) Murphy of Lorton Lick Road, Bluefield; two brothers, Peter B Yon of Durham, N.C. and Edmondo B. Yon of Bourg-En-Bresse, France; one sister, Mrs Gilda Tonini of Putnam, Ct., six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Cravens Shires Chapel at Bluewell with Father Leon Alexander and Dr. C. H. Patterson officiating.
Entombment will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum at Bluewell.
Friends may call at the funeral home today from 5 to 9 p.m.
